Tour Plan
Day 1 — Tirana Airport to Shkodra
Meet your local host and transfer to Shkodra. Explore the pedestrian centre and, time permitting, visit Rozafa Fortress. Dinner and overnight in Shkodra.
Day 2 — Theth and the Albanian Alps
Travel by 4×4 through dramatic mountain scenery to Theth. Walk to the village church, Grunas Waterfall and the historic Lock-in Tower before returning to Shkodra.
Day 3 — Koman Lake and Valbona
Take the scenic Koman ferry through narrow canyons and towering cliffs, then continue into Valbona National Park and visit Lake Xhema.
Day 4 — Valbona to Kruja
Cross the mountain landscape towards Kruja. Explore the old bazaar, castle walls and Ethnographic Museum, with time to discover traditional local crafts.
Day 5 — Berat and Vlora
Visit UNESCO-listed Berat, its hilltop castle and the Onufri Iconographic Museum. Enjoy lunch with a local family before continuing to Vlora.
Day 6 — The Albanian Riviera
Follow the coast through Llogara National Park, Dhermi and Himara. Visit Porto Palermo Castle and continue to Saranda.
Day 7 — Butrint and Ksamil
Explore the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Butrint, then continue to the turquoise coastline of Ksamil for lunch and an optional iso-polyphony performance.
Day 8 — Gjirokastra to Tirana
Discover Gjirokastra Castle, the historic bazaar and local artisans in the City of Stone before travelling to Tirana.
Day 9 — Tirana and Mount Dajti
Visit Bunk’Art, ride the Dajti Express cable car and explore the New Bazaar and Bllok district before a farewell dinner.
Day 10 — Departure
Breakfast, hotel check-out and private transfer to Tirana International Airport.
